547 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will intervene with the Land Registry on behalf of a person (details supplied) in County Sligo and have the duplicate land certificate expedited; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11362/02]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this dealing refers to an appli cation for a duplicate land certificate, lodged on 4 April 2002, application number S2002SM000420E. Duplicate land certificate applications take time to process as notices have to issue to the relevant institutions, an advertisement needs to be placed in the Law Gazette and certain time limits have to elapse before it can receive further consideration. I assure the Deputy, however, that the application is receiving attention in the Land Registry.
