55 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the position regarding a person (details supplied) in County Carlow who has not received payment for a ten month headage for eight cattle; when this payment will be made; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The person named submitted an application under the 2001 special beef premium scheme in respect of eight animals. The Department uses information on the cattle movement monitoring system to establish eligibility of animals for premium. However, in the case of the person named, these animals were not included on his herd reconciliation form on which he was requested to confirm herd details. The matter has been resolved and payment will issue as soon as possible.
