Ceist:

86 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny has been on a waiting list for speech therapy since July 2000; and if the report from the South Eastern Health Board can be made available to assist St. John's Lake School, Kilkenny, to obtain the support through the school which the person needs urgently. Responsibility for the provision of services to people with special needs in the Kilkenny region rests with the South Eastern Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to him directly.
