Ceist:175 Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources if his attention has been drawn to the fact that on 30 May 2002, the European Parliament passed a Bill without the opposition of Irish MEPs, bar one, which will have major implications for the Data Protection Act, 1988 and the Electronic Commerce Act, 2000, and will have major implications for Irish businesses.
