229 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Health and Children the 2002 Estimates of public capital spending by his Department; if the net expenditure under headings is likely on present trends to be exceeded; and, if so, the amount by which in each case. [15280/02]

The capital funding approved by the Government for my Department in 2002 is €513.987 million. Any increase on this sum in the context of a Supplementary Estimate is a matter for Government to decide later this year.
