259 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the steps he has taken to encourage members of staff in his Department to cycle to work; if his Department provides showering facilities; if his Department will supply cycle helmets to ensure safe cycling; and if he will make a statement on the matter. While it is a matter for the staff as to their method of transport to work, my Department provides facilities, including showers and bicycle parking, for any member of staff who wishes to cycle to work.
