265 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when the additional judges who have been appointed to the Flood Tribunal will take up their positions; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15227/02]
The tribunal has advised the Attorney General that the appointment of the new tribunal members and the reserve member should not be made until the after the sole member of the tribunal, Mr. Justice Flood, has submitted his interim report to the Oireachtas. I will make an instrument appointing the new members and the reserve member when Mr. Justice Flood has submitted his interim report.
