91 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Defence the steps he has taken to encourage members of staff in his Department to cycle to work; if his Department provides showering facilities; if his Department will supply cycle helmets to ensure safe cycling; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Suitable storage facilities are provided by my Department for the bicycles of staff who cycle to work. Showering facilities are available in my Department's offices in Dublin and Galway. No other action of the kind referred to in the Deputy's question has been taken and none is contemplated.
