1529 Mr. Cuffe asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the details of all prosecutions or legal actions taken under the provisions of the various flora protections orders or similar statutory instruments under the Wildlife Act, 1976, including case name, case number, a description of the case, reason for the legal action, the species in question and the outcome of the case. The information sought in the question regarding all prosecutions instigated under the provisions of statutory instruments enacted under the Wildlife Acts, 1976 and 2000 is not available and its compilation would involve a disproportionate commitment of staff time. I am, however, arranging for a summary of all prosecutions instigated on behalf of the responsible Minister from 2000 to date to be collated and forwarded to the Deputy.
