Vol. 554 No. 5

Written Answers. - Registration of Title.

Michael Ring

Ceist:

269 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason, almost six years later, the lands division of his Department has not replied to a query on a schedule (details supplied) in County Mayo which arose on 29 July 1996. [15742/02]

Michael Ring

Ceist:

325 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will instruct the Land Commission to reply to a query which issued from the Land Registry Office on a schedule on 29 July 1996 for a person (details supplied) in County Mayo to enable that person's registration dealing to proceed, as it is causing hardship for the applicant family. [16238/02]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 269 and 325 together.

The Land Registry query addressed to the survey branch of my Department concerns a mapping conflict between the map lodged under schedule 92859 and existing registered boundaries. The delay in progressing this case is mainly due to the complexities involved in the rectification of this title. Some 45 parties are involved in this transaction and a number of people have yet to sign rectification forms relating to this title before the transaction can be completed. All necessary steps are been taken with a view to expediting the completion of the schedule in question.

Michael Ring

Ceist:

270 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when Land Commission documents will be supplied to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo. [15743/02]

The relevant documents were issued to the named person's solicitor on 3 July 2002.
