Since 1 July 2001, the Commission of the European Communities, DG Environment, has transmitted ten reasoned opinions and 23 letters of formal notice to Ireland. I will arrange with the relevant Departments – the Department of the Environment and Local Government and the Department of Transport – to have copies forwarded to the Deputy as soon as possible.
