879 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism the way in which spending in the first nine months of 2002 compares to the budgeted profile for spending for each major programme of his Department's spending; and his forecast for year-end overruns. [17167/02]

Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism (Mr. O'Donoghue): Expenditure by my Department this year to date, including in relation to those functions that have recently transferred to my Department and taking account of the supplementary estimate passed by the Dáil on 25 June 2002, is broadly in line with budgeted profiles and no overruns are anticipated at year end.
