883 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism the total amounts of moneys spent by his Department, and all other Government Departments and State agencies, on hiring consultants, feasibility studies, press receptions, foreign travel and other costs in relation to Stadium and Campus Ireland; and if he will make a statement on the matter. This Department assumed responsibility for the Stadium and Sports Campus Ireland project on 1 January, 2001. On an annual basis, the Department allocates funding from its Vote to Campus and Stadium Ireland Development Ltd., the company set up by the Govern ment to advance the development of the Stadium and Sports Campus Ireland project, to meet the running costs of the company and other normal expenditure commensurate with a development of this nature. In 2001 and up to 30 September, 2002 an amount of €923,919 was provided to the company to meet expenditure of a current nature on the project which included, alongside other related costs, the expenditure referred to by the Deputy.
