950 Ms O. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children his views regarding the public health aspects of a dance performance brought to his attention by a letter (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15642/02]
Correspondence from the person referred to by the Deputy was forwarded by my Department to the Eastern Regional Health Authority for attention and for whatever action, if any, considered necessary. My Department also brought this issue to the attention of the Health and Safety Authority. Having regard to the details contained in the letter I am advised that there is no current public health issue in relation to the performance concerned.
