Ceist:

1097 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will have work carried out under the essential repairs scheme by the Southern Health Board, who sanctioned the installation of two windows for this person more than 12 months ago, but this person has heard nothing since. Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin):

Responsibility for the administration of the special housing aid scheme for the elderly in Cork rests with the Southern Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply direct to him.
