1309 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Transport the way in which spending in the first nine months of 2002 compares to the budgeted profile for spending for each major programme of his Department's spending; and his forecast for year-end overruns. [17169/02]
I understand that the Deputy's question refers to the former Department of Public Enterprise. The information requested by the Deputy is contained in the following table. At present, it is anticipated that any overruns on particular programmes will be met by savings elsewhere.
As the Deputy will appreciate, this Vote is being revised to reflect the changes in departmental functions following the restructuring in the Department of Transport with effect from 19 June 2002.
The downward revision of the expenditure for the Aviation Appeal Panel from that indicated in the reply to the Deputy's question on 27 June 2002 reflects the adjustment of an incorrect posting of expenditure to the relevant subhead.
