1. Greater Dublin Land Use and Transport Authority Bill |
To establish a strategic land use and a transport authority for the Greater Dublin Area. |
2. Air Navigation & Transport (Montreal Convention 1999) Bill |
To enable Ireland to ratify the Montreal Convention, 1999, signed by Ireland in 2000, which deals with air carriers' liability in the event of death, injury or delay of passengers, or the loss or delay of baggage. |
3. Air Navigation Eurocontrol Bill |
To give effect to the revised Eurocontrol Convention signed by Ireland in 1997. |
4. Air Navigation & Transport (Capetown Convention) Bill |
To enable Ireland to ratify the convention dealing with international financing of aircraft. |
5. Roads (Control of Road Works) Bill |
The Communications Regulation Act, 2002, inter alia, strengthens the power of road authorities to control telecoms-related road openings. A review of the effectiveness of road opening controls in the Communications Regulation Act will be carried out and the need for further statutory powers will be considered. |
6. Road Traffic (Amendment) Bill |
To amend and extend the Road Traffic Acts, 1961 to 2002, to provide for the establishment of a taxi regulator and for related matters. |
