Ceist:632 Ms Lynch asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when he plans to appoint a replacement sergeant in Rathduff Garda station. [20234/02]

I have been informed by the Garda authorities, who are responsible for the day to day allocation of resources to individual areas, that the current personnel strength of Rathduff Garda station is one Garda and that the divisional officer plans to appoint an additional garda to Rathduff. I am further informed that there are currently no plans to appoint a sergeant to Rathduff Garda station.
