235 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Education and Science if his attention has been drawn to the case of a person (details supplied) in County Sligo who has not received a refund of payment from a college (details supplied) in County Westmeath; if he will intervene on this person's behalf and have the payment refunded; if he will outline the avenues open to this person to have the refund granted; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The college referred to in this matter is not one of the English language schools recognised by my Department. English language schools must meet the criteria specified by the Advisory Council for English Language Schools, ACELS, for recognition to be granted by my Department. In the circumstances, I have no function in this mater and it would not be appropriate for me to intervene in this matter.
