57 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will grant full recognition to the Swords Educate Together School in view of fast growing pupil numbers and requirements to find a larger premises, and in further view of the fact that all departmental criteria have been fulfilled. An application for permanent recognition of Swords Educate Together National School is currently under consideration in the planning and building unit of my Department. As part of the examination of the application, factors such as the future viability of the school, current and projected enrolments and the suitability of accommodation must be considered.
A decision on the school's application will be taken as soon as possible and the board of management will be notified.
