95 Mr. Gogarty asked the Minister for Education and Science his plans to provide emergency funding to Kevin Street Institute of Technology to enable the college to reinstate the courses it has suspended due to lack of finance. [21691/02]
The Dublin Institute of Technology is a statutory body established under the Dublin Institute of Technology Acts, 1992 and 1994. Under those Acts the governance and day-to-day activities of the institute are matters for which its governing body and the institute's management are responsible. This includes the implementation of the programmes and budget and the management of the institute's resources.
