284 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources the outcome of the challenge by Ireland, with the European Court of Justice, to the Commission's decision to disallow forestry premium payments to Coillte Teoranta. [22399/02]

The outcome of the Government's appeal to the European Court of Justice against the Commission decision is not expected before the end of the year at the earliest. I am advised that the case is sub judice and it would, therefore, not be appropriate for me to comment on it any further.
