Ceist:334 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Health and Children if a person (details supplied) in County Sligo can be called to Sligo General Hospital for a knee operation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22193/02]

Responsibility for the provision of health services to persons living in County Sligo rests with the North-Western Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply directly to him.
