286 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources when a reply will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo following correspondence being redirected to his Department from the Director-General of the European Commission. [25158/02]
There is no record of correspondence from the person in question being redirected by the EU Commission to this Department in the manner stated by the Deputy. My Department responded in November 2001, to a request from the Commission for information in relation to correspondence, which the person in question had sent to the Commission in September 2001. The matter would now appear to be between the EU Commission and the person in question.
