Written Answers. - Departmental Expenditure.
To date in 2002, my Department has incurred legal costs in respect of technical, pensions and legal advice received in relation to the preparation of the Pensions (Amendment) Bill, 2002, in respect of support for the departmental legal adviser, as well as in respect of fees to solicitors in relation to civil actions or orders of discovery taken against the Department. The total cost of these services amounts to €167,584.63.
