337 Ms O. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children when the legislation to alter the Hume Street Charter will be brought forward; the intended purpose of that alteration; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25794/02]
I can confirm that my Department is in receipt of proposals to amend the charter of the City of Dublin Skin and Cancer Hospital, Hume Street. The precise nature and purpose of the proposed amendments is a matter in the first instance for the board of the hospital. I can inform the Deputy that the proposals are under active consideration by my Department, in conjunction with the Eastern Regional Health Authority.
