423 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government further to Parliamentary Question No. 1540 of 9 October 2002, if he will approve funding for the Ballyleague sewerage scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25829/02]
The Roscommon towns and villages sewerage scheme, of which Ballyleague is an element, is included in my Department's water services investment programme 2002-04 to advance through planning. The brief submitted by Roscommon County Council for the appointment of a client's representative to prepare a design review report and tender documents for the scheme is under consideration in my Department on foot of additional information received from the Council some weeks ago.
