427 Mr. Blaney asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when Carndonagh fire station will start construction in view of the fact that the review documents were submitted to his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25836/02]

Donegal County Council's tender proposal for a new fire station at Carndonagh is under examination in my Department in the light of additional documentation submitted by the council and a decision will issue shortly.
