159 Mr. S. Ryan asked the Minister for Transport the steps being taken to reduce traffic gridlock, having regard to the recent report showing that traffic congestion around the country was now costing Bus Éireann ?18 million per year and the recent survey by the Dublin Transportation Office showing that rush hour traffic in Dublin on some routes is now down to five mph; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
