Ceist:268 Ms Enright asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of medical cards granted to people who did not have medical cards in the preceding year by the Midland Health Board for 2002. [3923/03]

Information on medical cards, such as that requested by the Deputy, is not kept by my Department. Accordingly, my Department has referred the matter to the chief executive officer of the Midland Health Board for investigation and direct reply to the Deputy.
