311 Mr. Cregan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the progress being made on the application by a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny, for registration of land; and when it is likely this dealing will be expedited. [3947/03]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this is an application for first registration which was lodged on 29 September 1999. Dealing Number D1999JS008242V refers.
I am further informed that the queries issued to the lodging solicitor on 15 November 2001 and on 2 September 2002 and the most recent reply was received on the 26 September 2002. I am also informed that further queries were issued to the lodging solicitor on 11 February 2003 and that the application cannot proceed until these queries have been satisfactorily resolved. I understand that due to the complicated nature of these type of cases, which require examination of an applicant's entitlement to the property concerned, it is not possible to estimate a date of completion at this time. However, on receipt of a satisfactory reply, the matter will receive further attention in the Land Registry.
