192 Mr. P. McGrath asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food his views on whether his Department has failed to achieve the 3% target for the employment of disabled persons; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3820/03]
The number of employees in my Department with a disability is 127, which comprise 2.6% of the total numbers employed. A further 30 employees of the Department come within the scope of section 2(b) of the Employment Equality Act, 1989, which brings the total to 3.21%.
