438 Ms B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the reason for the delay in providing funding for the water treatment scheme for Waterville, County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4465/03]
A preliminary report for the Waterville water supply scheme, which has been included in my Department's Water Services Investment Programme 2002-2004 to commence construction in 2004, was approved by my Department in June 2001. It is now a matter for Kerry County Council to prepare tender documents for the scheme.
