The provision of treatment facilities in relation to sexually transmitted infections is the statutory responsibility of the health boards. The issue referred to by the Deputy is a matter for the Mid-Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
