Ceist:

306 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason the laser treatment for patients with birth marks has been cancelled at the Children's Hospital, Crumlin, Dub lin; the action that is being taken to ensure treatment is provided to patients and in particular patients who have commenced treatment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Services at Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children are provided under an arrangement with the Eastern Regional Health Authority and my Department has, therefore, asked the regional chief executive of the authority to examine these matters and to reply to the Deputy directly.
