Ceist:387 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of incidences of bullying which have been recorded within the ranks of the Garda Síochána. [12827/03]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that in the year ending 31 December 2002, 17 cases of alleged bullying were reported to human resource management, Garda Headquarters. From 1 January 2003 to 8 May 2003, four cases of alleged bullying have been reported to human resource management, Garda Headquarters.
