273 Mr. Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources if he will consider bringing in emergency legislation to compensate the people of east Kerry whose forestry was destroyed by fire and who, due to the ban on the grant for replanting for 2003, have lost all revenue from forestry with no means of replanting; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I do not see any necessity for legislation in this area. Forestry premiums have already been paid in respect of 2003 to those applicants who returned valid application forms with no loss of revenue of any such beneficiary.
