101 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources the amount of Government funding that was made available to produce the report, An Economic/Socio-economic Evaluation of Wild Salmon in Ireland; the person who owns the copyright for same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I would point out to the Deputy that the report, An Economic/Socio-economic Evaluation of Wild Salmon in Ireland, prepared by Indecon International Economic Consultants was commissioned and published by the Central Fisheries Board. The Central Fisheries Board received a grant of €75,000 under the tourism recreational angling measure of the National Development Plan 2000-2006 towards the costs of conducting this project.
