119 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason for the delay in providing a hip operation for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; if the person's name is on the list at St. James' Hospital, Dublin under a doctor or at Waterford Regional Hospital under a doctor (details supplied); and when and the place at which this person will receive the replacement hip. The provision of hospital services for persons resident in County Kilkenny is a matter for the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position and to reply directly to the Deputy.
