Written Answers. - Departmental Expenditure.
In 2002, my Department spent €47,196.96 on IT hardware upgrades and €12,717.12 on IT software upgrades. Up to the end of June 2003, my Department spent €23,255.40 on IT hardware upgrades and €9,021.41 on IT software upgrades. However, as the Department is currently in the process of seeking quotations for upgrading certain of its systems, it is impossible yet to accurately give a figure for projected investment in these facilities for the whole of 2003.
