406 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if nursing home subvention will be increased and if a top-up payment will be made in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; if the person's application to be transferred to St. Columba's Hospital, Thomastown, Kilkenny, will be expedited; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister of State at the Department of Health and Children (Mr. Callely):

As the Deputy may be aware, responsibility for the administration of health services in County Kilkenny rests with the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply direct to him as a matter of urgency.
