Ceist:

422 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if care will continue to be provided at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin, for a person (details supplied) in County Carlow; if this person will be retained at this hospital rather than being transferred to Kilkenny; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin):

The provision of hospital services for people resident in County Carlow is a matter for the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to examine this matter and to reply directly to the Deputy.
