424 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if the SEHB will expedite an application for domiciliary care allowance for a person (details supplied) in County Carlow; and if the application will be approved without further delay. [18731/03]
The assessment of entitlement to the domiciliary care allowance, including the appeals process, in any individual case is a matter for the relevant health board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer, South-Eastern Health Board, to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply directly to him.
