477 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if the Land Registry office has a record of correspondence on behalf of persons (details supplied) in County Mayo; and if so, the details of their folio number and so on. [18290/03]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this is an application for a vesting of land by the Land Commission – schedule No. 86302 refers.
Land Commission schedule applications are deemed to be registered as of the date of vesting which is prior to the date of lodgement of the documents in the Land Registry. Accordingly, registration in the Land Registry of Land Commission cases is afforded a lower priority than the registration of other dealings. I am further informed that, subject to no queries arising, the application will be completed within the next few weeks.
