482 Mr. Nolan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when a decision will be made on an application for citizenship or naturalisation for a person (details supplied) in County Carlow; and the reason for the delay in processing this application. [18406/03]
An application for a certificate of naturalisation from the person referred to by the Deputy was received in the citizenship section of my Department on 6 March 2002. The application is currently being processed and I understand that it will be referred to me for a decision in the near future. When a decision is reached in the matter, I will inform both the Deputy and the person concerned of the outcome.
