229 Mr. Crawford asked the Minister for Health and Children the cost to his Department of the review of nursing home subvention schemes carried out on his behalf by a person (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19108/03]
The cost of the report to my Department, aside from design and printing, was €40,912. This amount included Professor O'Shea's fee and fees paid to research assistants and others involved in its compilation. In addition it covered their costs of travel and subsistence and administrative costs associated with the compilation of the report.
