101 Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for Finance the reason a VAT repayment has not been made to a person (details supplied) in County Galway in respect of VAT on a concrete slab and a farm building; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19228/03]
I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that they received a claim for refund of VAT in accordance with the provisions of the Value Added Tax (Refund of Tax) (No. 25 Order) 1993 from the taxpayer on 5 June.
The claim has been processed and a cheque for the refund due will issue within the next few days.
