Ceist:142 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Education and Science if funding will be made available to repair the leaking roof and rain-water damaged classrooms in Kilmacabea national school at Leap, County Cork. [19263/03]
Written Answers. - Schools Refurbishment.
An application for grant aid has been received from the management authorities of Scoil an Chroí Naofa, Cill Mhic Abaidh, in respect of window replacement and flat roof repairs. The 2003 capital programme has been published and full details in relation to individual projects are available on my Department's website, www.education.ie. On the basis of the budgetary allocation it was not possible to make provision in 2003 for this project. The budgetary allocation for 2004 and subsequent years will determine the rate of progress on applications and projects that could not be included in this year's programme.
