201 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Science when he proposes to respond to the need to carry out remedial works on the roof of Scoil Mhuire, Clane, County Kildare having particular regard to the materials in the existing structure; his plans regarding, on health and safety grounds, proposals to expedite the issue; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The 2003 capital programme has been published and full details in relation to individual projects are available in my Department's website at www.education.ie. In view of the scale of the capital programme as now published, and having regard to the level of financial commitments to be met from projects already in construction, the Department does not envisage that it will be in a position to provide funding for additional works during this year.
