258 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Health and Children his views on whether a mechanism allowing the setting up of new programmes, which are of a defined nature, time limited and clearly training focused as opposed to a day care service, needs to be put in place. [19249/03]
With regard to rehabilitative training programmes, measures are in place between service providers and the health boards-authorities for the submission and approval of new training programme specifications. All such training programmes are of a defined nature, are time limited, and do have a training focus.
